The job of Head Start Program Instructional Assistant was established for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional program within assigned classroom with specific responsibility for working with individual and/or small groups of students and providing instructional support to instructors.

 

Minimum requirements:

 

CDA certificate or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or willingness to pursue a CDA certificate or degree in ECE

Experience with preschool population

Ability to function in a culturally diverse population

Able to work within a team concept

Good oral and written communication skills

Able to frequently lift twenty pounds
