The job of Head Start Bus Driver was established for the purpose/s of providing support within the Head Start transportation content area with specific responsibilities for transporting students over scheduled routes and/or to/from special excursions, ensuring vehicle operation is in safe operating condition, and ensuring safety of students during transport, loading and unloading from buses.

 

Minimum requirements:

 

High school diploma or GED

Valid CDL license with School and Passenger endorsements

Job related experience

Excellent driving record

Good organizational and interpersonal skills
